Seminar description:

Research shows that today's students are engaged by games, simulations and other interactive Internet resources. This seminar will introduce participants to Internet resources and technology tools that address the National Reading Panel recommendations in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. In addition, participants will discover more than 1000 high-quality, interactive K-8 math resources that address National Math Panel recommendations. These resources meet diverse student needs while increasing motivation of all students

Graduate Credit Requirements

Participants who wish to earn one-hour of credit from Lindenwood University will develop two lesson plans, one in reading and one in math, that make use of these resources.

Participants may register for graduate credit the day of the seminar. There is an additional charge.
