Seminar description: Ready to Moodle? Attend this beginner's Moodle session to learn why Moodle, an open-source learning management system, is called the “Swiss Army Knife” of instructional tools. This hands-on session introduces the basics of Moodle. Resources, activities, and blocks will be introduced and demonstrated. Effective course layout and instructional strategies will be presented. No access to Moodle? No problem! We will provide you with a free Moodle course.
Graduate credit requirements:
Participants will develop a Moodle course that utilizes 10 or more resources, activities, or blocks for use in their classroom.
Participants may register for graduate credit the day of the seminar. There is an additional charge. Payment must be made by check on the day of the session.
